I made myself something pretty 😊 and her name is Sasha!
Sasha is made from Simplicity S8915 from Mimi G’s collection.
This is the first pattern I made while watching one of Simplicity’s sew-alongs on youtube and, ya’ll, it made the process so much easier. I wish they did sew-alongs for all of their patterns, now 😂😂😂 I made the maxi dress in view B.
The only issue I ran into is that I found that you really do need to cross the straps in the back in order to create enough tension so that it fits snugly under the arms. On the front of the pattern it shows a picture of Mimi wearing the dress and her straps aren’t crossed. I wasn’t able to get mine to work out that way.
